Established under the esteemed heritage of a college founded in 1942, our department has become a distinguished centre for both undergraduate and postgraduate Sanskrit education.

B.A. in Sanskrit (Honours & General) – A 3‑year full‑time undergraduate program designed to strengthen linguistic skills, classical literature appreciation, and critical analysis.

M.A. in Sanskrit – A 2‑year postgraduate degree, welcoming up to 47 students per batch. This program deepens understanding in advanced texts, grammar, and linguistic theory.
