The Department of English at H.D. Jain College, Ara, is dedicated to fostering a deep appreciation for literature, language, and critical thinking. We offer undergraduate (B.A.) and postgraduate (M.A.) programs in English, focusing on both classical and contemporary literature from around the world. Special attention is given to British Literature, American Literature, Indian Writing in English, Literary Criticism, and Language Studies.
